Bailey turned 12 and we talked endlessly about what kind of party she wanted. Everything from a big dancing glow party in the backyard to an adventure somewhere but we settled on a few close friends at the lake. It was perfect. We played in the water, the kids tubed, we hiked the waterfalls (which were totally dry), we had her requested dinner, had a silly string fight, went to the Cuba drive-in movie theater and ended the night with the dancing glow party which made me so happy!
It was literally the perfect day. Gorgeous weather and drama free friends which at age 12 is a huge deal!
It’s so nice to have friends that love your kid in all the right ways. These three friends are kind and fun and I’m so glad Bails has them in her life!
